Katy Clark has been working with international students for more than fifteen years – from teaching on youth development expeditions in Belize with Raleigh International, to directing an international volunteer programme in New Zealand.
Having left home at seventeen to backpack around Africa, followed by travelling the world as a marine biologist, she is passionate about motivating and encouraging young people to volunteer and study overseas.
As a member of the Study Abroad and Exchange team at the University of Waikato, she is primarily responsible for outbound student mobility.
Katy lives in a cottage with a view of the ocean with her two young daughters, both of whom have inherited her love for wildlife and adventures.
