Senior Lecturer, Higher Education Development Centre, University of Otago
Dr Vivienne Anderson is a senior lecturer at the University of Otago’s Higher Education Development Centre, where she supervises a multinational team of doctoral students, and works with staff and students from across the university. Vivienne’s research explores questions relating to teaching, learning, internationalisation and higher education.
A former primary school teacher, Vivienne became interested in international education while living as a ‘secondary alien’ in the U.S. with her academic husband and young children. In her spare time, Vivienne looks after three teens, walks her dog, and works as a volunteer English language tutor with former refugees.
