Amanda Pickrell is the Director of International Education, in the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources for the Victorian Government.
Amanda has extensive experience working in all tiers of government, not-for-profit organisations and the private sector internationally.
Prior to joining the Victorian Public Service in 2015, Amanda spent two years at Canada’s Public Policy Forum leading projects on public sector productivity, indigenous economic development, adaptive and resilient communities, and national broadband policy for the federal and provincial governments and the private sector.
Before this, Amanda held several roles in the Commonwealth government responsible for international engagement, defence, and national security policy.
Amanda holds a Masters of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Asian Studies) from Murdoch University.
