New Zealand’s third-largest source of international students, Japan is showing positive signs of growth as it heads towards the Tokyo Olympics. The number of Japanese students in New Zealand has increased by nearly 10 percent between 2015 and 2016. The Japanese Government has embraced an ambitious goal to double the number of both inbound and outbound students by 2020.
In this market dive session, come and hear from Mr Tatsu Hoshino, Executive Secretary of the Japan Association of Overseas Studies (JAOS) as he provides an overview of Japanese student mobility trends and developments using new survey results from JAOS members.
