New Zealand’s international education industry has developed in leaps and bounds, becoming a significant social and economic contributor to our country. But what does the future have in store? How do we shape our industry through to 2025?

The world has changed significantly since the Leadership Statement for International Education was launched in 2011. In light of this changing context, the substantial growth of the industry, and the emerging issues from this growth, the government is developing a new vision and strategy for international education. The development of the new strategy is being led by Education New Zealand and the Ministry of Education.

During this session you will explore the strategy’s framework and have the opportunity to provide feedback and input into the strategy in its draft stage. You will also be able to explore what the strategy might mean for the international education industry as well as your organisation.
